Just imagine if they did new models for the mounts, people would be complaining that Blizz put man-hours into art instead of fixing something else. And the 'B Team' would get blamed for that too.

The only thing that could redeem this of it's stupidity is if you could purchase the WHITE and PALAMINO horses without their armor again.
If that's the case, then I'll be kissing feet. Palamino pony sans armor = best mount in game.

Boy that's lazy. I assume they're losing so many customers that they're trying to "resolve" as many concerns in the shortest amount of time possible. So a complaint like this is easy: just give them a mount and use some generic asset you had laying around: done.
