I think the funniest, or maybe tragically saddest, part of all this hype (on blizzard's part) is that they think making one raid easier will amount to a hill of beans. This is one raid, in one expansion. It doesn't matter how easy they make it. There are folks who (I'll type slowly to give others time to warm up those two brain cells) wouldn't raid even if it gave you max level epics and could be done in PVP blues. The rest of the 4.0+cataclysm changes mean that the other 98% of the game will still hemorrhage (heh, more rage?) players that were happy with WotLK (*PSST!* There wasn't a derp-level ICC raid! Hard to believe? IKNORITE?) and simply wanted some new venues with the same playstyles.
The concept of people not liking what they like must really make some peoples' heads asplode.

I do not think that anyone on this thread was saying that this one thing was going to "fix" this expansion. At best this is one small step in a better direction than they have been going.

No, Talehon really does think this is going to fix the expansion.

As long as there is a difficulty level that you enjoy and your gaming experience isn't affected, what the hell difference does it make if other people get to see content or get epics?
There seem to be a lot of insecure children that play this game and can't stand to be confronted with the reality that their in-game "accomplishments" are totally insignificant. It's like the only source of pride in their lives is having an e-dolly with better clothes than everybody else.
Quoted for truth. Why is anyone worried what anyone else is doing? I don't care what raiders are doing, I only want to experience all parts of the game that I paid for without quitting my job and becoming homeless. WOTLK had its issues but accessibility was ultra-high and that was what made it pure win, imo.

The VNboards are so much fun! Its like my own personal train wreck going 24/7
and noone is actually getting hurt which takes away the guilt of watching.

That wasn't targeted at you. And I probably could have made it a bit more clear that it was focused on how much pride there seems to be from Blizzard in how this new raid and the raid finder will be awesome and how much raiders apparently hate the idea of PUGs getting the same looking gear as them.
