Well being serious, WoW has rotations and tons of situational issues that has a player doing different things. I'm not saying that Diablo gameplay is completely rote, but it does usually boil down to the click, click, click of the left mouse button.
But addressing the delay, it really shouldn't be surprising for Blizzard. The best thing about that development studio, aside from WoW recently, is how adamant they are about polish.
