I feel bad for Barry Pepper. Great actor that, if you can stomach watching it again, did really give a good effort. He may as well have just been a giant walking bung hole with the level of writing and production though.

That is false. Everyone agrees that was one of the worst films every created.
Battlefield Earth is one of the worst science fiction books ever written so any movie made from it was going to be nothing more than polishing a turd.

Was considering resubbing for 4.3 ... the set bonuses on T13 looks pretty good for almost every class ... but alas, I think I'll go retro and play Asheron's Call until SWTOR launches.

Amazingly bad maybe, or amazingly awful even. Neither the book or the movie ever rise above the level of major waste of time. Kind of like WoW has become under the glorious leadership of Crab-boy.

I loved the tv series, but aside from the first movie I thought all of the Highlander movies sucked. I haven't seen the second one, which is supposed to be the worst by far, either.
