You know, even though Blizz introduced this concept before the movies, it's Kung Fu Panda being ripped off is what people will think. Blizzard is short on ideas and this makes them ( incorrectly ) look worse. Perception is everything.
I would have gone in a different direction....dragons or something that seems to have a long history in the story as it exists today.

I'm okay with that perception.
The perception I have right now though is that they are doing one race, one class, and 5-levels instead of two new races, a hero class, and 10-levels. In Cataclysm, they only did 5 more levels because they were planning on changing the entire leveling experience from 1-60 again.
What are they doing this time? Streamlining talents even further? Making a new Panda starter area?
I'm willing to wait and see, but I can't say I'm very excited this time around...

One major, major point I read in the proposed changes that no one here on the boards has jumped on yet is their plan to flatten out the stat curve on all characters and mobs. So basically they are going to try and rebalance every.single.thing. in the game.

I've been wanting to play a monk since 1999 when I first picked unarmed in Ashron's Call. All have been a disapointment. I'm really looking foward to this. I'm not so sure about the Panda but I'll learn to live with it.
