Work in progress obviously, just started on it. I'd love input and suggestions though. Currently focusing on plate gear only. Will probably branch out once I'md one playing with every outfit combo for my pally, DK and warrior though. I'm doing main pages by color and then doing weekly posts with outfit "sets". On my color pages I'm doing the item name with a link to it and it's source. Not sure if I should add levels or not since with th expense of xmogging is going to be huge I for one won't be doing it on lowbies.
So any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

The text is somewhat annoying to read on the black background. Could be just me, but I very much disliked it. Not sure if it's just the size, just the color, or both.

Idea? awesome I think.
Effectiveness? When I can't do anything on a page without allowing a script, I just leave....so even as neat as it may be, I will never know..
Holler when the no menu, no script, simply scroll down the page and look version comes out.

K, colors might be too "yellow" might tan them a bit instead and use a cleaner, slightly larger font.

I set it up through blogspot so no idea what you mean or rather not sure what I'd need to change for that.

I'm running NoScript, and have everything on her page blocked, and I was still able to navigate around.

Not a bad idea for a site/lolblog overall. I guess the big issue will be getting it out there for people that care to see it, so that all of your efforts aren't going to waste. I wouldn't branch out past plate with the idea, unless you get a large enough following to justify it.
The idea of using a blog to deal with something that has such a large database, doesn't seem sufficient! I guess the Wowhead mouse-over thing works, but why not just visit that site instead? (unless you plan to post the look of each piece you have linked somehow?)
Don't know if you changed the text based on the comments already, but it looks fine at the time of this posting.
The fact that you have Blood Elves plastered in the background is blasphemy, I am shamed by your lack of Dwarven women. 
Needs a better backdrop, repeated BE models in armor doesn't draw me in. Maybe make them smaller if you go this route, because the jagged edges on the fail WoW models are a huge turn-off when it comes to eye happiness.

Yes I changed the font already. And frankly trying to do all types of armor atm is WAY too much. Small bites.

Don't worry there will be dwarves.
As far as the background...I need help with that.  I made that background with paint so..yeah...Making them smaller might not be a bad idea and adding a selection of races instead of just blood elves? And using a real graphics program to put it together so it's smoother. Pyckles is my BE pally tank (one of them) and sort of just based off her to start.

What I plan is having pieces listed by color so you can tell at a glance which colors are what instead of trying to go to each piece of plate armor on wowhead and hoping there's a screenshot. Trust me, you can't just search for red armor on Wowhead. You need ot know in advance what you're looking for, that's where I come in. Evenutlaly I'd like to add images with thumbnails for each item but I'm sticking with just color charts atm. I'll be showcasing an armor set each week so there will be pics for that.
I'm still playing witht he best wayt o categorize the armor thougha nd what info to put with it, like thumbnail, part of a set, color, source, etc. Looking for suggestiosn to mkae it easier ot fidn stuff. I get a little short sited when I'm making something becaus eI know how i want it ot work I don't always make it user friendly and I skip a few steps.
