I know a "Mike Editor". He works in finance though and is not a real editor.

Ability to read doesn't have a lot to do with editing.

Most fools can read and write, the internet is proof of such.

The ability to write well is anothing thing. There's a reason some people are best selling authors, and others not.

I would consider myself a decent enough writer, able to get my point across. But I'm no professional and I know that, hence why I am looking for someone who knows what they are doing.

As for "free", if you had read the original post, you would see that I said I wasn't looking to pay. But I may be willing to if I had to.

Once again, read the original. Nowhere did I say the word free. I basically also said I may be willing to pay, depending on if there was noone willing to do a favor. If someone was willing to help me out, great. If not, it's possible I would pay a professional.
