So, according to Rill's guide, the *hats* are level restricted. Does this mean that you can't go back and solo an Outland dungeon trying to get a hat the "easy" way? I ask because my 'lock doesn't have a hat - never got one, it seems - and I'd like to know what it will take for him to get a Winter Hat.

That's correct. It won't drop from lower level instances if you are higher level.

That's correct. It won't drop from lower level instances if you are higher level.
Thanks for the info. I see the finding the Greench and saving Metzen changed too - your guide doesn't show that change. The Greench is now in those hills, has about 3.5 million hp, and when you or your party kills him, he drops a bunch of sacks of "stolen loot" that you have to pick up. And, you have to talk to Metzen who was stuck in a nearby pen to complete the quest.
Nuts. That means I have to queue up for some randoms and  .

sigh....the new daily is such a pain in the lower backside for alliance.. gotta fly way up there then go back to If.. .no one uses If because blizz was dumb and put everything in SW and nothing in the other cities
edit: why they couldn't make the greench a boss in a dungeon like they do for all the other holiday bosses i don't know, but i'd prefer that.
