One thing SWTOR is making me realize is how well combat is executed in WOW. That and having the experience of rabid fanbois all over again, damn are some SWTOR sites scary.

I said screw it all and reactivated my DAoC account and also created a bot account since you get every expansion for free now.

Really? I'll have to check that out. I loved DAOC and played it for years before giving in and trying WoW.

I just trashed all of my Asheron's Call, DAOC, and Palanetside disc last night...
The WOW disc will be next just as soon as we get pandas

I hate WoW, I cant stand it anymore, but one thing Bizzard did right in WOW from the start was combat mechanics and allowing people to create Mods of the UI.
The combat and group mechanics in SWTOR are utter crap. The UI is disapointing and I was a bit surpirsed by that, but Bioware games typically have rudimentary UIs. KOTOR was real basic as was Nerver Winter Nights. But it wasn't hat big of a deal for me as I found Never Winter Nights so disapointing for a lot of reasons.

Blizzard did a lot of things really well. Problem is they did them 7 years ago. Had a lot of fun with wow now it is just old and going directions I don't like. like many others Lich King was the peak of the game for me.
