The reason this worked in Diablo 2 is because you could pump your skills ability without the use of gear simply through leveling. Also, most of the time these 'hardcore 'hardcore'' people would use a pet summoner class which would allow you to have quite powerful pets with only grey equipment on. You can't even compare that to WoW because WoW is I'd say 98% gear.

I'm thinking the people involved in this are less concerned with finding challenges and more concerned with bragging about how "hardcore" they are.

Oh, I've watched the first season and the prequel. Haven't seen any episodes this season yet cos I'm still missing Andy Whitfield. I don't think anyone can replace him as Spartacus.
Also, I can't imagine what Lucy's daughter and husband think of her scenes cos they are both involved in the filming. LOL

ZOMG! I can't imagine doing soft porn in from of my kid! (Who I assume is an adult and all, but still, barf!!!!)
But yeah, no Whitfield means I'm done with the show.

Yeah, her daughter is an adult and works in a film editing capacity or something similar. I saw an interview with Lucy about it and she said her daughter just turns her back when it comes to editing her scenes. Not to mention that her husband, Rob Tapert, is the one of the executive producers on the show. Very opened minded family they are. heh
