Very interested to see when this will launch. on a pure value for money perspective, GW2 sounds too good to be true.
If they can deliver on half of what they are saying, it will be a good game. Even more and the majority of us gamers will be delighted !
Be prepared to be delighted then. If GW2 is even remotely like the GW release, then it's going to be a blockbuster. WoW Killer? That remains to be seen. But it will be a major event in MMO history.

I'm looking forward to trying GW2. SWTOR has been fun but I'm honestly more a medieval fantasy girl. No matter how cool lightsabers are I just can't stay entertained in a sci-fi environment for very long.
SWTOR is still a fun game for me, even after launch and several months of beta. I've been waiting years for a good sci-fi MMO, since the only ones really available are (were) Anarchy Online (which has such a huge learning curve as to be laughable), Star Wars Galaxies (now dead), and Tabula Rasa (dead even longer than SWG). I don't include Eve because that isn't really an MMO, it's more of a gold-farmer riddled space shooter, and that doesn't count.
I just don't understand why people look forward to a fantasy MMO so much just because of the genre. I mean come on. Fantasy is so overdone in MMOs that I don't think there will really be a ground breaking fantasy MMO short of GW2. I know that GW2 will be my LAST fantasy MMO EVER. I am so tired of the genre that I feel like Gandalf the Dead Horse.

Post count just means you spend too much time reading and not enough playing.
