Sadly, they've gutted the entire core of the game twice during beta and removed arenas (for now) to launch the game.
Somebody is scared of Guild Wars 2.

Think about what they did to WoW over 8 years, they basically did the same to D3 inside 6 months.

Well, I'm not sure how they could have dumbed down D3 any more than it already was. Considering their approach to WoW and making it supposedly easier to maintain by simplifying things to a great extent, I'm guessing the bean counters (read: the guys from Activision management) have solidified their position at Blizzard. Sadly, while it makes immediate sense to stockholders assuming the subs hold to the same levels, it does NOT make sense to the growth of the game (or whatever Titan turns out to be). 
While I'm on the subject of Titan, I can't imagine it will be any more complex than WoW is today, especially considering the early impact of WoW's current business strategy on the Titan team's design decisions.
