decal + vista help |
I get a black screen (where I only can see the decal toolbar) when I log into my character. It stays there forever... I have tried re-installing decal many times. Has anyone had this problem and found a work around for it?
I know there are some people that have run decal on vista, wondering how they got it to work.

Running Decal and even ACDC on Vista (on a Notebook) and it's all running nicely. Your AC running fine without Decal? Seems to be a directx or gfx driver prob...

Yeah, my ac runs fine. Just when I log on with decal it goes black screen as of portal space.

I want decal, yes, turning off decal lets me in game.
And there's no chat box to render radius

Got all ports set right? Checket, if anti-virus is bugging the connection?
I do remember that there was a black screen issue having to do with NAT and NAPT. Though the last time I heard about that is years ago.

No luck with the antivirus / firewall off. Not sure how the ports work, but ty for the idea

you need to delete the anti virus program get rid of it all together.
