Anyone else?
Its a step in the right direction but it was horrifyingly boring, i quit at like 45.
I hate games that talk about pvp like its actually content in the game, it was just WoW pvp lol.
Back to playing minecraft and my other arsenal of boring games that i have played too much (CS lol)

I beta tested Rift for 2 months and told EVERYONE the game would fall off after a short time.

i have a few friends that keep trying to get me to play but by the way they describe the pvp, it's sounds too much like wow.

someone said there bringing some type of open world pvp to it? didn't it already have that?

Tried Rift just couldn't get into it, it's like they took WAR and WoW and combined them.

Yeah I had some great times in Rift, not going to completely discount it. Having said that, it's not the type of game you can just keep pvping in after 50 and have a blast. I literally pvp'd to 46 (the level I quit at) doing a minimal amount of quests and by 40 it was getting stale. There's open world pvp, but in this particular game, that got boring before the battlegrounds did because you are just attacking people that are trying to do quests. I like the combat, I like my class (rogue assassin), but I don't like the limited pvp options and ultimately I quit after 1-2 months. I know pvp is a niche, but is it really that hard to just implement a pvp zone that you can go to? just seems like the people developing these games don't have enough of an open mind, and think copy wow = success and they don't really want to step outside of that. I'd have a hard time telling you how Rift is that much different from WoW. At the end of the day, it's not.

They are implementing some sort of big open pvp area, kind of like NF but i doubt it will be worth reupping and grinding the last 5 levels.
