Will be making the char for my off time when i'm not playing on ywain. I have a 50 SB on mordred but I need a class that is a good farmer and can also pvp if need. I'm not looking for any casters at all can't stand them. So in short asking for ether heavy tank or hybrid (maybe not a mauler though even though thats best just don't like the class much) Thank you for reading and input

If you change your mind about casters, a Cabalist is fantastic at farming and pvp - probably the best class if you're looking to do both. And I'm not talking about focus-pulling; At 50 with a greater focal myth and a self debuff you can rip shit being standard tri-spec.

Vamps Valewalkers and Valks are overplayed and get boring to see so stay away from the V-characters for the sake of everyone else.

Minstrels are great at pve and pvp. There are some really awesome pets you can get and being able to play in all 3 realms makes it fun. Being able to climb into keeps is pretty rage-inducing for other players and you can hold your own in normal fights as well.

Skald or Shaman would work too but are a bit more boring.

I'm also going to say +1 for Thanes - Slam nerf doesn't matter that much with block stuns and they have mad deepz. Anyone who says Thanes do bad damage have never seen a good Thane.

A Thane is a fun class to play. Good pve and pvp but in pve you will have some down time. I played a Thane as my main for a few years. I'd say anything besides a heavy tank and your going to be happy, heavy's can be a pain though imo.

Ive also played a friar quite a bit and you wont have any down time in pve and can take on multiples. PVP you can do fine also, in my experience they are opposite of Thanes. You might have some trouble against hybrids or stealth at lower rr's. With many people playing hybrids id go with the Thane over Friar unless its mainly used for pve and a little pvp here and there.

Mainly farming then for sure Friar. Or a Tic is a great farming toon, or Valk. Basically anything that doesnt have much or any down time and can kill quick. Tick/Friar kill pretty fast. Hard to say which id go with for glass probably Tic just for survivability pvp wise. A Melee Tic is a hard sob to bring down.

I'm still at ether a friar or thane still cuz being a SB for so long that I tend to make chars that are hard classes to kill as a sneak. So i'm kina biast Also only reason is that i'm not going with the valk is cuz i don't like playing girl chars hahah stupid i know but i hate it. plus making a temp and specing em just right is one big pain in the ass agree? lol

in that case, thane is probably the hardest class to temp in this game. i'd personally go with the friar.

Well hard to template or not you should still be able to do something good without ml10 items.

I tend to go one way when playing a Thane. Makes templating alot easier, if your middle of the pack your losing out. Templating a Thane is a PITA but they are fun. Just make a Thane, so much talk already about them its making me want to play mine again.
