For glass, kill Colossals in Stygia. Easy to duo down with a necro/cleric and give 200 glass a drop. There's a nice loop of them too.
I have no idea where the good scale farming spots are, I've never really farmed for scales.

that's out in shrouded isle territory, out by caer diogel area (alb side) not sure if there is an orc camp in mid/hib side to use.
