Nauri, I admire you so much for the wonderful care you give to your parents~
you are a sweet daughter and they are blessed to have you around in their old age.
Your humor and your patience are amazing!~ (i read the blog about dad's trip to the dentist! lol)
hang in there girl...it's not easy to care for your children and your parents at the same time, but you are doing such a good job ...

ED: Mom is 83, Dad is 85. Dad was diagnosed over 12 years ago, Mom just under 5 years.
FMN: They raised me this way. We spent afternoons visiting shut-ins and going to nursing homes to visit people. Mom played music and we either played music or sang. I can't think of a time when I needed something that it wasn't there for me. Time spent trying to help them through the latest challenge is really no different than the time they spent teaching us as kids to tie our shoes, eat with utensils, put on clothing, walk... all those things they did for us, we now do for them. A sense of humor is absolutely required to make it through a day with them, though... seriously!
