I don't think I ever really had realm pride. I had a general distaste for Albion, but that's about it.

I only had realm pride when it benefitted me directly. Otherwise I hated everyone equally.

Ah okay, it's similar to the bot that posts topics on the WoW forum, just from you instead of a bot. My bad, wasn't aware of that.

I came to Gaheris from Lance Mid and I still think "Filthy hibs" and "Stinking albs" from time to time. Since I've been on Gaheris I don't think it much. Once they pretty much got rid of the realm timers I became a permanent Gaheris resident. I didn't even transfer my toons to Ywain.
I can't even begin to describe the frustration of taking the center keep with 20 people vs. like 3 albs and 2 hibs. You take it and suddenly 15 people need to go and amazingly enough suddenly there are 17 albs (or hibs). coming to take center keep. I'm not sure keep defense even happens anymore. People just roll the keep, log out, afk for 5 minutes, log in another realm and take it again.

There was more realm pride when the realms were less of a carbon copy of each other.
the patches for a long while now have been to not just address class balance, but to balance the realms as a whole. Making no one spell or ability a realm exclusive. Even many rr5 RAs have been seriously downgraded in line with this.
