Sick of farming glass/scales figured Id do some afrits instead. Problem is especially doing the ones that run away after you kill elementals is sometimes I cant kill either of them. What would be a good Hib or Mid class for doing those. Also whats a good class for doing the ones that spawn the chests/weapons as well? I dont have a bot dunno if that will gimp me. Right now on Mid I have a Valk and on Hib I have a Mentalist. Would both of those work or should I do roll something else? I have my metalworking up on both of them to salvage so thats why I figured Id farm these guys.

I like the pet class option, put it on aggro before the 2 lesser afrits appear and it kills one while you nuke down the other one

Animist. Shrooms will get one of them, you just have to hope you targeted the other one.


I used to do the ones with the chest/weapons with animist and low RR, bad gear warden bot. They did it just fine. I can't imagine what would solo those things.

Seems like animist would work too if you have enough shrooms out.

On that note I bet an air thug would work even though it is neither hib or mid, those stuns would hold them in place nicely

Just reread OP. If you are doing Afrits for salvage.....don't. Not unless you can trinket every material out there, since that's what is going to drop. If you specifically want metal, I'd head for Grogans or something. If you are doing it for a change of scenery or for the glass, then Afrits are fine.

Or just do the logical thing and stick with the Mentalist and just stun both of them and nuke them down? But a smart guy like you would of thought of that right?

Play on a pve server, and suck at it too

Stick to what you are good at minor leagues, like sucking at life.

Reason # 6 why I am better than you: not only did I say a pet class earlier (which a chanter is and he has stun) I then took your dumb insult and did it better than you.

One more thing ensucklopedia of DAoC, thug pet stun does not have to deal with diminishing returns like base stun does
