Spell Pierce |

I have a question about spell pierce. I'm under the impression that it only offsets or cuts through magic resists that other players have from their gear. In other words, its only useful in rvr situations. Is this true? Or is it useful in pve as well.
I think I'm gonna try and put together a pbaoe temp and I dont know if spell pierce something I need to include or not.

Didn't there used to be a bug on necros where if you stacked way over cap on pierce (like 39%+) it would work in pve even?
Not that the info does much good, but was just curious.

Arch Magery works, from artifacts, relic fragments, whatever. Greater Focal Mythirian is also King.

that was true when i played. since mobs have no gear spell pierce does nothing to them.
some people here included it because they liked to duel.
