We used to park a couple heals outside of his ae spear range and put a couple tanks just in heal range. Then a caster or two to run up the hill and debuff/nuke him down. When adds went to healers the casters would clear them.
Think we used warrior, paly, healer, shaman, chanter & sm. Could probably do with 1 tank, 2 healers and a caster though it would take a little longer.

If you really want to go bare bones, you can do healer (druid, cleric, anything that can spam majors and greaters when needed), chanter, tank, heretic.
The only catch is the heretic and chanter have to really be on the ball and clear adds that get on the healer. They also need to be very vigilant about running out of tether range to reduce agro. If Agramon so much as turns at them for a split second, they need to run out.
