Havent played DAoC for a while but Im a very old player. My account creation date is Nov 11, 2001 if that makes it an old account lol. I dont really feel like getting into PvP again so figured Id just do some PvE. Since I wont have but 1 account and have no 50s I obviously cant PL myself. What would be a good leveling class? Id like to avoid Friar and Necro as thats what I played before and would like to try something different. Also no Vamps I played one during a trial a few years ago and hated them. Id like to try a sword/board class like maybe a Valk or Warden as they have heals which would mean I could grind nonstop and also havent played either of them. Also I think Warden's have an energy chant like paladins which would be great since with no plat I cant buy invig pots. Whatever class I choose is just grinding my way through DF the best way to level? I cant remember where else to go dont really know much about any of the new expansions.
Also are there even enough people on this server to do stuff? I remember before they changed camelotherald you could see realm populations and there would only be like 50 people online. a low population server doesnt bother me as long as I can find people to do stuff with. I just dont want it to be like my old everquest server, firiona vie, which had the lowest population of all servers. I literally spent weeks trying to find groups because all everyone did was multibox and wouldnt invite any outsiders.

My advice would be to ignore anything Password posts in this thread.

It's actually pretty easy to level a toon through the new user hubs. The quests are fairly easy to do, help gear up your toons through levels, and give decent coin per levelling. You need not buy much of anything other than realm buffs and their pretty cheap.

This. Also, when you hit level 45, go to Cathal Valley. You'll get 45-50 in less than an hour.

Most of the encounters are easy enough that you could accomplish them with a full group. I've seen almost everything done with 8 or less. The only thing I haven't seen done personally with 8 or less is ML10, Hydra and Xanxicar, but I was phasing out as those were added, so I haven't done much of them.
Wardens are good characters to start out with, they're group friendly, but can still solo fairly well. My typical warden spec for Gaheris didn't work as well solo on lower level / rr characters, but I was happy with it for L50 chars that were templated. All of my wardens went 50 shield, 45 nurt, 24 regrowth, 8 blunt. Mostly I used the shield styles for damage dealing, as blunt was solely composed of leftover points.

Are these quest hubs easy to find? Where are they?

You get thrown right in to them as soon as you start your character.
But just in case, if you type /help, then go to lesson quest, they will tell you what area you need to go to.

The quests are easy and start off in the tutorial erea. Theres a specific icon that marks them, and it's shown as one of the first quests in the tutorial zone. One leads you to the next one. I have the Hib and Mid ones marked because those are the ones I worked on during the test. But if your at all familiar with Albion, it won't be too hard to figure out the equivalents:
Hibernia:
• Levels 10-14: Mag Mell
• Levels 15-19: Tir na mBeo
• Levels 20-24: Ardagh
• Levels 25-29: Howth
• Levels 30-34: Connla
Midgard:
• Levels 10-14: Mularn
• Levels 15-19: Fort Veldon
• Levels 20-24: Audliten
• Levels 25-29: Huginfel
• Levels 30-34: Fort Atla
The battleground quests are given in these areas, however Gaheris has no battlegrounds other than Cathal Valley, so you can't teleport.
When you do hit the CV quest, not only will it level you from 45-50 in no time, it gives really decent coin. So if you want to just build up your bankroll a little /xp off before you ding 50 and keep repeating the quest.
