Wow Michigan lost a game...shocker.....I think I very clearly said that I didn't think they were ready yet, merely that the future looked good for Michigan football. What happened Saturday did nothing to change that, they played a decent game and came back in the fourth quarter. Their defense blew it. That QB just may well be on his way to a Heisman at some point in his career and just in four games makes all Michigan fans happy Prior was bought by OSU. I have always, and will always be a true, die hard U of M football fan.

The are not a fraud, they will win a national title within a few years and compete for them on a yearly basis soon. The true frauds of college football are teams like USC and OSU.

As far as the VN nick goes, yea it's a new acct but it wasn't on purpose, their new system kind of made it mandatory as I can't recall which E-mail addy I used to make the other acct. I sure wouldn't throw away nearly 10k posts.

Finally concerning my step sons and old lady, things work them self out, it was a stressful time, God forbid people never have those. We made it through just fine and because of me he finally did get the help that he needed. 16 year olds are tough enough to deal with but add in about 10 medicines and its even more fun. It was definitely a mistake to put it here and I regret that, along with some of the things I said that were just wrong. Unless you have children of your own you could not understand, I was faced with a decision that could possibly cost having my children in my life and even though the VN boards are far from the best place to bring a problem, those people who actually posted useful discussion actually helped me to work through some of the issues. So yeah, I apologize for bringing it here in the first place and for some of the things I said, I have difficulty believing it was important enough to hold onto for nearly two years, but whatever.

People change, they grow, I'm not nearly the same person I was at that time, especially here on a posting forum, I don't take things half as serious or half as personal and if you really think my thread about Michigan was anything more than fun and supporting my team, I'm sorry, it was all in fun. Fedup should just go watch Dirty Dancing again with his boyfriend and not worry too much about silly things.

Can't complain though both him and his brother, turned out to be a nice little meal ticket. Nearly 2k a month combined for em from SS disability. Add that onto the already decent cash I make working=large flat screens, season tickets to whichever team(s) I desire, smoking hot top o the line pc, brand new Stang in the driveway and anything else I desire. All at your and other hard working American taxpayers expense!The initial back payment(s) were omgz fat. For that I say thanks, I might retire early in a few years.

Not quite. They are a fraud though, especially the last few seasons when they go get spanked by Oregon and UCLA teams that would suck in the Big Ten.

As far as Michigan winning a national title, and therefore a Big Ten school, I understand your thinking. Thing that has to be realized though is that Michigan, unlike the rest of the Big Ten that either refuses to, or can't get the talent, has finally moved into the 21st century.

Big 10 is to college football what Al Davis is to the NFL right now. Outdated, anemic, with no clue how to build a team or recruit the right talent. Nothing has changed, you can build an entire program around tate forcier for the next 3 years and Michigan will still not win a championship. You can take that one to the bank

As far as talent is concerned, big ten has plenty of it. This year alone, Beanie Wells, Aaron Maybin, Malcolm Jenkins, Vontae Davis all went in the first round and are all Big 10. 7 Ohio State players were drafted into the NFL this year, most of them in or before the 4th round. And what did they do last year? Got clobbered by LSU in the championship game. LSU players that got drafted this year? 6. Only one in the first round and every other pick was in round 5 or later.

Some of the best players in the NFL right now have come from Big 10 schools. Hell, even Brady came from Michigan. Anyone can recruited talented individuals, it takes a good recruiting/coaching team to make a viable team.

Knock on USC all you want, but at the end of the day, they're the only school that can lose the vast majority of their team (11 players, and almost all entirely defense)in one year due to the NFL draft and come back the next year and still be a heavy contender for the national championship. USC's 3rd stringers could be starters for most Big 10 teams.

I appreciate you standing by your team, but don't disillusion yourself because you see one spark of life and automatically assume because of one person your entire program has turned around.

There are quite a few reasons people will hold onto something like that for 2 years.


#1. You present yourself in an abrasive fashion. Coupling a psuedo-apology for using VN_Gawaine as your personal laundromat with a jab at people who bring it up is an excellent example of what I'm talking about.


#2. And actually a bigger reason, you have no restraint. Any bait put out there, you take and proceed to run with reckless abandon.
