So,

This morning, my 4 year old daughter was playing with Groundskeeperr the Bear, a paddington bear GK generously sent so many years ago when she was born, and I started wondering how the old crew members were doing.

Fun to see Kahlann and GK still haunt this board (where did this board go and come back from?). Hope all's well with my old guildies and the rest of you.

I take it Warhammer has peaked. What's it like?

Online games aren't my bag anymore. The social side was fun, but holy crap did it take a lot time. I am embarrassed, how much Daoc mattered and how seriously I took it (and sorry for when I was a kranky wanker).

About 3 years ago I took that energy and went outdoors, learning to hang glide (and dropping about 40 pounds recently). Try it sometime, it's even more fun than that hang gliding bit in WoW.

It's amazing to me after all these years that people still show up to say hello to a community they once enjoyed so much. That's a pretty strong bond no matter how you cut it.
