I dunno, I wouldn't completely discount the supernatural, but all evidence in general points to the power of suggestion. Houses make strange noises sometimes, and sorry if I just don't bite into people saying they saw 'something' with no evidence other than their word...I've woken up in the middle of the night and sworn to have seen spiders on me, only to throw the blanket off, turn on all the lights and see that nothing is there. The brain can manifest the strangest things under the right influences. Not to say that this is or isn't your issue, but until I see something with my own two eyes, I just tend to think it's paranoia.

I don’t believe in that garbage, XFILES, religious crap, curses, karma, voodoo, hexes, psychics, and all that other fantasy stuff. Nobody can pull a Darth Vader and crush your air passage, nobody can teleport, and no John Edwards psychic can talk with the dead because it is not possible. I simply and honestly do not believe in the dead or demons, or some entity creating everything and sending his son born upon a virgin to die on a 2x4 amidst a crowd of Romans and Jews…. That’s bs in my honest opinion. So yeah I typically rule out this stuff until things started happening and I, like you Guud, refuse to believe things until I see or they happen to me, which they are.

Normally I’d shrug it off and say my mind is playing tricks on me, but I’m wide awake after no stress and rested up in perfect condition and have seen or heard these things, my dogs chase things and bark at corners, and piss themselves… and my dogs NEVER piss themselves nor walk with their tales under their legs and liquidate… over nothing. I cannot say my mind has manifested bs because it’s the same story to all of us here, and I have watched scary movies forever knowing full on well, the difference between fact and fiction, which is why movies really never have an effect on me. I’ve walked in graveyards, I’ve camped out in ‘sacred land’ in the Tomoka Woods where Indians and Spanish got slaughtered, I’ve been inside the dungeons of St. Augustine Castle where people were drained of blood and everyone claims is haunted, and never encountered anything that cannot be rationally explained.. until now.

If there's a God I'm sure he can accept the fact that I refuse to believe in him because he's the best at hide-and-seek, just as I refuse to believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster or Raptor Jesus or any other diety based on it not showing itself. I'm sure God could understand that it is hard for someone to believe something based on the words of other people and not showing himself to prove that he created us not visa versa.

IF there is a God.. then I'm sure he judges us by our actions on how we've helped anyone and the times I've stepped out to assist people outnumber the time I've rained on somebodies parade by a good majority. I don't think he will get mad because I didn't put money into a collection cup and didn't bow down at an alter at some dude that appointed himself the spoken word of a potentially good bs artist. Religion is an evolutionary idea... this current one is just a phase as have hundreds of others throughout time. I do not see God as this 'omg u didn't kiss me where I poddy thus you will burn in eternity' kinda thing. I just see religion as a tool to control the masses /shrug.


As for hell, I don't see the entire good -vs- bad thing. I doubt 2 people that were friens for millinia's could have such a fight that they no longer speak, for example: Lucifer led God's army. He was his top Angel and his number 1 bud. I'm sure they sloshed in hot tubs together telling some awesome stories, kicking back etc. He sat to the direct side.. of his home boy, but then they had a spat and he kicked his bff and top General out. Well ok... they hate eachother.. but numerous times in the Bible they'd chill out and chat and screw around with people (like the Book of Job), so obviously if communication is done, old woulds heal over time. I just don't see us as choosing a side based on how we live, especially since we're the ones making the rules spoken down over time, so I just don't see it as concrete. And again, if it is real.. I bet I get picked in the 1st Draft because I'm a pretty good catch for either side.

For your judgment theory you have going on...There will be two places where judgment will be placed.

First you have the "Judgment Seat of Christ" (2 Corinthians 5:9-11). This is where Christians will be judged for things they did in their lives (good and bad). For the good things we have done we will be rewarded. For the bad, we will lose.

Secondly you have "The Great White Throne Judgment" (2 Corinthians 5:10). This is where non-believers will be judged. Once judged here for your deeds done during your life you will be thrown in the lake of fire for everlasting punishment.

The reason that believers are allowed into Heaven with our sin is because Jesus died for our sin.
