My aversion to Briarcliff is the fact that it's a large server and will likely be full almost all of the time.

Honestly, I'm not thrilled with the idea of queing everytime I log on and I think that's part of what kills a game for people.

If the vast majority of us are fine with queing then Briarcliff can be the choice.

Do we have to set up poll for this one?

on the other side of that though Uruz... is people WILL quit within the first month. which will keep briarcliff at a good population. I would rather have a server full than a server with nobody on it .. know what i mean?

Up to you guys really though.. Seastone is fine too

Yeah, I played a full queue Aion server at start and it only took about 3 weeks for there to be 0 queue. I think I'd rather deal with a queue for a few weeks and end up on a high pop server than a low pop server.

Especially since BG's are instanced per-server and not cross-server in this game. Unless world pvp is that good and I never step foot in a bg...

My concern is the zerg mentality. MMO players don't hold back to keep a population healthy. If defiant outnumbers guardians 2-1 then defiant will press and squeeze every inch of the guardian lands until they basically kill it, they will then whine that people left and there's no PvP to be had.

If people had restraint and knew how to keep things fun then I wouldn't worry where we go. I will post the final result on the guild site and on the poll thread so we have it. Ultimately I want to go where the daoc players are, but honestly, at this point I feel like all modern MMO PvP'ers just suck and I'm losing patience.

I didn't like it in WAR when order rolled us for months, then all of a sudden chaos was dominating, then order whined, and left for order dominant servers. Kids today don't want a fight they want a massacre.

Right now Seastone and Briarcliff are on the top of the list, and if folks can make a good argument I'm definitely up for suggestions.

That's going to happen on every single PvP server. In beta there really wasn't any balanced servers, one side is going to roll the other.

Stupid 2-faction games.

Agreed with Choochie. Avoiding the zerg in a 2 sided game is as unreliable as going bareback with a Spring Breaker and hoping to avoid a UTI.

Do they have a char mapper? Like CamelotHerald where you can see stats, or perhaps like Aion and Global Agenda where you can see your char and points, armor, etc? Or WoW has the Armory etc? I don’t see one for Rift :: cry ::
