I remember eating those from a neighbors tree during street baseball games as a kid. We would all look like rabid bloodthirsty cannibal children with the red staining our faces lol

they are awesome! 
but they are a pita to eat without red juices going everywhere! btw, do you eat the seed things?
i just chew and swallow all the juices and spit out the seed thing left behind...

we used to have a pomegranate tree but since i wasn't eating them all every year my dad took it out. i was like look i can only eat so many of any fruit before i'm done.  don't rely on me to eat an entire tree's worth of fruit. it won't happen.

LOL damn yeah, too much of anything is bad.
I wish I could grow a pomegranate tree here, but I don't think it would enjoy our northern weather.
