Metallica Overflows Guitar Hero |
Plucked this from the net. OFN I know but is anyone else a fake plastic guitar wielding, old metal head like me who can't wait for this??!?
The next “Guitar Hero†will feature 28 Metallica songs. “Enter Sandman†is there, of course, but so are songs like “Battery†from “Master of Puppets†and “Creeping Death†from “Ride the Lightningâ€. The release day is March 29th.

easy. activision is making guitar hero ddr for your fingers. rock band places the notes appropriately to the notes being played in the song.

I love DDR. /shrug
RB and Guitar Hero are the same game, they are both DDR for your fingers. RB just has more music available.
I've already reserved GH:Metallica, I can't wait for this game. Supposed to get a bass pedal with a reserve, at least that's what the guy at Gamestop said when I reserved it...

they're not the same game. they're very similar but rock band stays truer to how the music is played. if you don't actually play an instrument i can see how you wouldn't notice it, but it does. gh puts notes in random places which makes it a harder game imo, but it's hard to be hard, not hard to be fun.

I play guitar and played Rock Band once and it is nothing like playing guitar, particularly when it comes to timing. You have to press the buttons before the beat; if you play on the beat, you miss the "note." Very frustrating.

When I bought GH3 I could NOT get used to it because of the same reason. By the time Rockband came out I was used to it so this was a non-factor for me. (Yes I play real guitar so I noticed the difference right away.)
