I know we have several Canadians that post here, and some market savy folks I'm certain (not my area of expertise).
What's the buzz with Air Canada? I have my man coming here in March and a colleague who's flying to California in March as well, both via Air Canada, and I hear their stocks are near rock bottom.
I'm thinking to myself, hot damn if we lose Air Canada, what the heck else do we have? Sure, Continental, but they're poopy.

Air Canada lost a billion dollars last year and the service still sucks.
Avoid at all costs.

About five years ago they nearly went bankrupt (even though they're subsidized by the governement)...they 're-structured' and seemed to be doing OK, but yeah apparently 1 billion in losses last year...so again, they're in trouble....but again, when have they NOT been in trouble?
West Jet > and cheaper, should fly with them

West Jet IS amazing. Sadly, not in Moncton, NB airport. 
Maybe if Air Canada goes belly up, West Jet WILL be available here.
I never had anything but good experiences with Air Canada.  ... I did think their movie thing on their flights was unnecessary, but maybe that's just me.
