Arizona @ New Orleans, Saturday 3:35 Fox


This is a playoff match between the hottest team in the NFC and the defending Super Bowl champs. It was in the divisional round last year that the Cardinals caught fire, a fire that almost brought the lombardi trophy to the desert. New Orleans returns to the playoffs after falling just short of the superbowl a few years back. Honestly I am expecting to see a repeat of last weeks Cardinals Packers game, lots of offense and little defense. I think the team that does play even a little defense will be the team who comes out victorious. My prediction: New Orleans by 10.


Baltimore @ Indiancrapolis, Saturday 7:15 CBS


First meeting this season was won by the Colts 17-15. Joe "cool" Flacco threw a late int in field goal range that cost the Ravens the game. This game will be a historically great offense matched against a historically great defense. The Ravens did a wonderful job against Tom Brady last week, and I would be surprised if they can turn in an equally impressive effort this week. This is the round that the Colts have historically had problems in, the Divisonal Round is a thorn in the Colts foot. I think this year they will have trouble agian against the first team to beat Brady in New England in the playoffs. My prediction: Baltimore by 3.


Dallas @ Minnesota, Sunday 12:00 Fox


Dallas is riding a hot streak that began the day they defeated the then undefeated Saints. Instead of being over rated and irrelevent in December/January, the Cowboys stormed their way to a division title and knocked out a pre season superbowl favorite in Philly. Minnesota is coming into the playoffs from an opposite direction, losing games to Arizona, Chicago, Carolina. Brett Farve has had a hit and miss career in the playoffs, and I am willing to bet that the Dallas defense who confused and shut down an explosive Philly offense two weeks in a row will do the same to Brett. My prediction: Dallas by 17


New York Jets @ San Diego, Sunday 3:30 CBS


Many will argue that the Chargers are the hottest team in the league right now, I would tend to agree. This very well could be LT's last chance to make a superbowl. I tend to think that Norv Turner is the most underrated coach in the league right now, this is his post season to make a name for himself. Not much can be said for the Jets. They were given a spot in the playoffs by the Colts and Bengals. They made the Bengals pay for that mistake last weekend, but I can assure they will not make the Chargers pay. San Diego will advance to the Championship game for the second time in three years. My prediction: San Diego by 10.

Arizona @ New Orleans - New Orleans has lost 3 in a row, Warner is 9-3 in playoffs. Going to be a high scoring affair; AZ 38, NO 34


Baltimore @ Indy - Baltimore was 1-6 vs 6 playoff opponents in the regular season. They handled a depleted NE team who was w/o Welker. Their defense was gutted by Billy Bill and retirements. NE wasn't the NE of 2 years ago, nor even 8 years ago. Indy did what they do all the time, get 1st then relax. Same type of game as early in the year, same result; Indy 23, Bal 21


Dallas @ Minnesota - Dallas broke the December curse, then spanked a Philly team that couldn't adapt. Favre is healthy, the Viks have the best DL in the league; Minn 33, Dal 21


NY Jets @ San Diego - I'll start out by saying that I am biased. I grew up in SD so the Bolts are my team. 11 wins in a row. Rivers, Gates, Jackson, LT, Sproles. Revis(sp?) can take care of Jackson but SD has too many other weapons. SD 28, NYJ 17

I think AZ will beat NO, but I have a burning hatred for the New Orleans Saints as of this season, so perhaps thats just wishful thinking.


I dont see any way that the Ravens can beat the Colts; I doubt Flacco's 4 completions last week were a good enough warm up for a game in which he'll be required to score a truck load of points.


The Dallas/Minnesota game seems like it could go either way and I honestly cant pick who I think is going to win.. probly Dallas.

In all honesty I had picked the Colts by 6 to start with. I was reviewing what I posted and noticed I only had 1 away team winning and I feel like two away teams will win this weekend. I feel strongly about the fact NO and SD is going to win so I rolled the dice with the Indy game. It wasn't hard to convince myself to pick against Indiancrapolis, as I have an extreme dislike of the Colts, which is only topped by my dislike of the Titans.

I'm picking Cowboys, Colts, Saints, Chargers

But the Chargers/Jets is interesting. The Chargers are about the most one dimensional team in the league. They are the absolute worst rushing team. They really don't stop the run or the pass. They have a phenomenal passing game, but the Jets have by far the best passing defense and they also have a great rushing offense.

If Sanchez doesn't throw it away I think the Jets could pull off the upset.

Ravens @ Colts - I have a deep respect for the Ravens D, but they can only rely on it soo much. I know that they have a great running attack, but they are too one sided to go far into the playoffs this year. NE wasnt the same team, so please dont look into that game as a sign of things to come for the Colts...i see the Colts winning and moving on to the AFC champ game.

Jets @ Chargers - The playoff run is done once the Jets hit Cali! I think the Jets will hold on shortly, but the Chargers will easily pull away with a easy W.

Dallas @ Vikes - Everyone is riding the Dallas bandwagon as of late..im still not sold, I think the Vikes are going to pull out a win against the Cowboys that i hate as much as Amendial loves my Colts...

Zona @ NO - This is a tough pick...most would say hands down the Saints will win, but they have proven late in the season they can be beat by the Jokes of the league. its again all on Warner and if he decides to come and play...im going to predict that NO will win, but they both could run up the score like last week in Arizona.

Yeah we will. Look at me and Juzam, we get along fairly well, considering he is a Missouri grad. Why one would put himself through the torture and punishment of attending that school beyond me; of course on the flip side KU can't let everyone in so I guess they have to send the losers down the road to Missouri.


As far as the Colts go, I look forward to watching Peyton "Cry Baby" Manning losing yet another playoff game this weekend.
