Amendial's Superbowl Sunday Prediction! |
New Orleans Saints @ Indianapolis
The two best teams all season long meet in the superbowl. Peyton Manning is going against the team his father played for. This is clearly a game of offense against offense and which ever team decides to play defense first will win. I think the Colts D has a much better chance of showing up to play than the Saints D does. Giving Manning two weeks to prepare is like giving your opponet in a ten step duel a nine step head start. Brees is a great quarterback himself, but no one other than maybe Tom Brady is on the level on Manning. The Colts have also been here done that as far as winning the superbowl goes; and alot of there key players played in their last superbowl so they have experience on their side. Darren Sharper might be the only wildcard player in this game on the Saints D; he is the only hope for the Saints to keep the Colts under 400 yards passing. All in all I do not think this game is going to be as good as the experts are saying it will be.
My prediction: Indy by 14.

just like all the other so called analysts on TV...no one seems to want Indy to win. So I'm hoping for another win to force the so-called experts to talk about the Colts tomorrow morning.
Not going to predict a score, but the wild card imo is going to be the Indy D. If they play the game they can and have, then it should be lights out! I'm almost to nervous to watch the game, if I wasn't hosting DA party! I would just wake up tomorrow and read the box score.

CBS should change their logo to the Saints. Hard to watch, now they are showing Obama talk about healthcare....least it's not another story of how the Saints should win.

The Saints are the feel good team in this game. It is hard to imagine anyone other than Colts fans want to see Indy win this game. Even if the Saints were playing a different team other than one of the few I always root against, I would still pull for them. New Orleans deserves a Superbowl championship, it would be a feel great story if they can deliver. Its the same reasons I rooted for the Cardinals last year.

That was a great way to end the game. It was nice seeing that classless jackarse Manning throw a pick six and then get pushed on to his cry baby butt. This has been the best end to an NFL season than there has been for years.
