As a Jayhawk fan I have been through much worse. This one doesn't sting near as much as the second rounders in the 90's and the one in 2000. In fact this one doesn't hurt as much as any of the ones leading up to 2008. How can I be upset when we did win a national championship two seasons ago. There is always next year.

Just think, karma could have just been getting you back personally for that Nebraska thread... Besides, my bracket is screwed too.

Maybe you could actually opt to root for Mizzou to beat West Virginia tomorrow and we could actually still get 3/4 big 12 in the final 4. I know that would be asking the impossible though!

I do not need to root against Missouri, we both know they wont make it to the final four. K-state is the one that worries me. Baylor I will be rooting for to win it all, but never Missouri or K-state. I will be happy for the Big 12 if they either of them do run the table. I couldn't believe they put UNI in the number 9 seed in our bracket. It literally stunned me when I saw that selection Sunday. It is the first thing I noticed, and it is a big part of the reason why I had so much anxiety this past week leading up to this game. It simply amazes me how the basketball world wants to ignore these mid major schools when some of them can play great basketball. UNI was a four loss team coming into this tournament. I might be a little biased because I live in Wichita, and go watch Wichita State games all the time, but I think the Missouri Valley is a very under rated league.

As far as kharma goes, it had no effect on the game. Wearing one of my other jersey's or a different hat wouldn't have effected this game one bit. Jumping in a circle after every made free throw would not have effected the outcome of this game. I dont buy into supersitions in sports, I had no effect on the outcome of this game. The only backlash from the Missouri getting beat by Nebraska thread is that it comes around just as hard as it goes around. I wont think anything less of you for giving me some crap, in fact since your a Tigers fan I would be upset if you didn't rub it in.

Thats the nature of the beast. It is part of the reason why people fall in love with college basketball. Once the tournament starts anything could happen. It would be nice to see football go to a playoff system of atleast eight teams. Imagine college basketball if we just took the two top ranked teams and put them against each other. Imagine all the stunning upsets and miracle games that we would have missed out on over the years. Even being on the losing end of this game I can appreciate the enormity of what happened today.

Now just remember, when Mizzou loses to West Virginia tomorrow that they were a 10 seed who was supposed to lose in the first round, not the overall number one seed that almost every major analyst predicted to win it all!

Yeah this town is pretty crazy about the Shockers. Charles Koch is a great basketball atmosphere to watch a game in. That is one thing I am going to miss about living here, but I guess I won't be too bad off, I am going from Charles Koch to Allen Field House.
