Yes, linky please, I need to know where Fran Tarkenton is otherwise he'd be another one to throw in the top 20.

Guessing Favre will be in the top 5, just based on the player aspect, number of records owned, and the streak.
In my lifetime, the best player IMO is Sanders. I've never seen a RB that could make people look flat out stupid making them miss like that. If only the Packers would of drafted him instead of Mandrich, it could of been a true dynasty!

Not only that, but he managed to get a rather meh OT into the Hall of Fame. Seriously, only a handful of plays got shown for the guy and they all involved him falling down, the defender tripping over him and Sanders hauling ass for the endzone.

Juzam, you're right about my thoughts on Brady. He's very good. And I'd put him in the top 100. But not that far above Young and Aikman. And I agree with Northwind about Sanders. My favorite player ever. It was always exciting watching him run. And just image if he had stayed in the league 5 more years. Barring injury, he'd have set incredible records.

Are people seriously comparing Brady to Troy Aikman... a guy who had 165 TD and 141 INT in his career?

20-11 aired tonight. Barry Sanders at 17. I was hoping higher, but I don't know who I'd move to get him there. They threw in a few players I hadn't thought about (Ray Lewis, Ronnie Lott, Anthony Munoz). But I don't disagree with their placement.

Hmm.. interesting. Favre is 20 and Sanders at 17. I'm kind of surprised about that.
From those not listed yet that I've seen play that have to be top 10
Montana & Rice, my guess is they have Montana as the highest rated QB, All the others of note are already listed I belive.
I'm going to take a stab at this and predict that Walter Payton is listed as number one.

im going to disagree and say Rice...i have never once heard of Payton being one...its always been Rice, Brown, or Montana. i am completely surprised at Sanders rating...his skills and the horrible teams that the Lions put up just doesnt mesh with his rating.

I am.
Aikman resurrected the cowboys from the absolute bottom of the NFL (1-15 in his first season, 1989) and led them through one of the more dominant times for any NFL team. 3 super bowl wins in 4 years.
90 wins in the 90s makes him 3rd on the list of 'wins in a decade'. Brady is second with his 97 wins in the 00s.
Aikman has 6 pro bowls. Brady has 6 pro bowls (only accepted 5 though).
But here is really why I think they are more than comparable. Brady has better stats than Aikman - yes, but Aikman dealt with much more adversity in his career than Brady. Aikman had 4 coaches to Brady's 1. Aikman had 10 concussions to Brady's ?.
I am not saying that Aikman is better than Brady, and I am not saying that Brady is better than Aikman. Brady's story is not yet finished for one. But I am saying that they are comparable as to what they accomplished.
Besides if people are going to put Favre up there as a great QB, I don't think that the number of interceptions would be viewed as a negative.
