MLB season starts today... |
are any of you fans of MLB. we dont usually have many topics about MLB, so was curious. if you do what team is yours? and are looking foward to this years games?
mine is the
and i look foward to every year! last year, was very nice due to them winning the central. my hopes are higher this year. would like to see another world series in Cincinnati...been a long time since 1990.

Yawn. Not a huge Baseball fan, hard to get into a sport with over 160 regular season games. Talk about a watered down meaningless regular season. I will pay attention to the playoffs and September usually. Go Braves!

NFL season is about the only time there is action on this board anymore. I miss the glory days of this board.

I don't mind Nascar as much since it is only 36 races. But yes Nascar does have a long calendar season, but physically I think it is the least demanding of the big time sports in America; baseball is the only one that can give it a run for its money in that catagory. And since it is only one race a week I do not mind it as much either, especially since it covers all of the football offseason. Provides nice entertainment on Sunday's in the off season.

my dad started taking me to Reds games when i was a small boy...grew to love the Reds and Johnny Bench, moved on to other players, and then the Colts in 84' moved to Indy...i was 12. that was when i truely discovered my love for football. still loved baseball, but football was #1.
hell, i even modify my dishnetwork bill every baseball season to get the foxcincinnati channel. so now i get to watch most of the games on my days off.
i only really got into Nascar for a few years..and that was just because i was basically forced into a fantasy league. left the league and my interest for Nascar left as well.
