The new league has been created, and invitations should be in your email. Please note here, that the current rules that are set up and the draft time are not offical and are subject to change. I have yet to offically decide on what rules changes will go into effect this year, but I will let everyone know by the end of July.

I'm just going to say it now. Since my pay league kind of split into two, I've had time to decide that I'm not going to do Fantasy Football this year.

The proposed lineup and scoring changes have been posted to the League settings. Please review them and consider them and leave feedback. They are still subject to change. Main thing I did was scale back QB's a tad by making it 30 yards per point instead of 25, and I added a .5 PPR to the league again to try to balance the league up once again. The new proposed line up is: QB, WR, WR, RB, WR/TE, WR/TE/RB, WR/TE/RB, K, Def, 6 bench players, and 1 IR player. Defensive players have offically be nixed from the league lineup, as they were inconsistant and ineffective. The only difference other than the defensive players was the addition of a second WR/RB/TE spot. I am still undecided on this being a good or bad thing, so leave your opinion on it and we will see what happens between now and the draft.

I'm in. And I like the lineup. Getting rid of the individual defensive players is just fine with me.

I am pretty sure I know how this will go but its just a suggestion from something I have been curious about watching ff over the last couple of years.
Replacing the 2 defensive players with wr/te/rb is the typical way, but what about maybe scaling down the points just a tad for them, and adding a second QB instead. Might make for some interesting challenges as well (especially if QBs get hurt at the rate they did last year).

I was really close to making the last postion: WR/TE/RB/QB. It could be a wildcard best available anything type of posistion. However, given how precious of a commodity quarterbacks were last season, especially in our league, I am very cautious about adding a second quarterback. Hopefully with PPR back in the lineup, and quarterbacks being scaled back by a little bit, this will not be an issue. I will leave it up to the masses. If enough people say they would like QB added to that last wildcard position then we will give it a shot.

I had wondered about a 2nd QB spot but I don't think it would be a good idea. If we were to go with a 2nd QB spot, each of us will want to draft 3 of them to cover our bye week. There aren't 36 starting quarterbacks in the league until guys start getting hurt and you see who's going to step in for them.
