If you are interested in becoming a new fanchise in the VN CB Sports FFL league, please post here. Returning franchises from last season get priority. Next will be returning franchises from previous years that did not play last year, and then after that I will fill the league up using a first come first serve rule based on the order of posting in THIS thread. If you are interested post here, and let me know so I can get you on the list. By posting here you are in no way guarenteed a spot in the league, and are in no way commited to joining the league if you change you mind prior to the week before the draft.

No, it is just a friendly league. We are going to vote during the draft to decide on possibly having everyone pitch in 5-10 dollars and doing trophies again this year, but nothing is definite in that department.

I will tell you what. If we do trophies this year, and you win a trophy, then I will personally buy you a championship trophy from last year. Trophies are not all that expensive, the shipping of a trophy, however, is very expensive. I spent over 50 dollars buying three throphies a few years ago, and 35-40 of that was just in shipping charges. If everyone pitches in 6-7 dollars, we could do nice trophies for three people. But it is something that I have to get input from every member on, as I do not want someone who simply cannot justify parting with 6-7 dollars to be prohibited from being in the league. Right now I pretty much need 8-9 ok's to go ahead and say lets do it.

I doubt it, I would be willing to bet my kidney that they have a deal in place by a week from Friday. The owners stand to lose almost 1 billion dollars if they do not play the preseason. That is too much money to walk away from, especially since they are only arguing over millions of dollars at this point. However, if by some stupid fluke they do not agree to a deal by the start of the preseason, then I think you can kiss the entire season good bye. The owners will be in much less of a mood to settle if they lose out on that pre-season payout. But I would be shocked if we are not into training camp on time.
