Peyton Manning might actually miss a game or two! WOOOOOOOOOO! Even now a part of me is still saying, "so what, he is just doing this to screw with you. Give you hope and then take your heart and shread it into little tiny pieces by beating you twice and winning the divison again all while he does his little evil Manning grin and laughs in your face." A man can hope I guess..... Now I must leave, I have to go construct a fourth Lucus Oil ginger bread house to blow up just in case.

I want to believe he will miss a couple of weeks so badly, but I have been a Jaguars fan for long enough to know that when it comes to Manning and the Colts, you can never count them out. If I had to bet on it, I would say he will play week one.

Manning will not play the season opener, and rumor is he might be out all season now!

So Amendial's voodoo seems to be paying off... but there was a price, Jags axe their starting QB a week before the season starts.

You know the more I think about it, the more excited I become. While I do think Garrard is a good QB, I have become tired for the weekly rollar coaster rides he puts us on. Add that to the fact he had a horrible pre-season, and I cannot imagine Luke being that much of a down grade from David. David has made some big plays for us, but he also has made several big time interceptions in crunch time. I can specifically remember four games in which David threw an interception late against the Colts with us driving for the win, and most of those where over throws to wide open WR's. That has been the most frustrating thing about Garrard, he continually over throws wide open WR's. I do think that this move all but ensures we probably see Gabbert after the bye week on week 9.

And lets hope its all about Karma. The Colts are in for a decade of being obliterated by a great Jaguars quarterback in heart breaking fashion continually if Karma is trying to be fair. As far as Peyton Manning's injury is concerned, I think it is going to be a very bad thing for the Jaguars. We do not play the colts until week 10, Manning will for sure be back by then. However, the Texans get at least one game against the Colts without Manning. That immediately puts them ahead in the division race. If the Texans truly are going to be competitive this season, this has to give them the edge in the division race right now.
