It doesn't cover theft, but it does cover accidents. I'd keep it just for that if I'm traveling with a laptop.

I meant that if the floater insurance would cover my laptop in case of both accident and theft, then there would be no need for the Complete Care coverage...

I haven't worked in insurance in over 15 years, so I can't recall what they'd cover. Call an agent up and ask. You definitely don't want to pay for the same coverage twice.
