Well, it is hard to get a monthly thing going there's on average 3-4 participants :<
I've not been a part of the contest before, but trying my best to keep it going now, as I think it is a very nice way to see peoples diffrent styles (plus I think its just good fun!)
This "months" theme is moving water, it isn't a very hard theme, you can find something indoors to take pics of, glance out your window on a rainy day and use a flash to catch raindrops, take pics of a river with a longer shuttertime (1 sec is nice) take longer exposures of the sea, short exposures of kids playing in the sink with water all over the place, place some water on a table and put a small child infront of it and you're in for a nice watery display.. the list goes on
It's one of the easyer themes we've had so far. And don't think too much about winning, think about participating in order to have fun, AND to keep this contest alove, so that you might get a theme YOU like sometime in the future
As for deadlines, Nakal only set the deadline so far ahead because there was a serious lack of contributions by the end of the last contests deadline. The way to fix this? Send in your own contribution as fast as possible. For my own part I started looking for shots when it was semi-decided that moving water would be this months contest, and sent it my pics very early.
So just set your own deadline, and you're good to go!
