I know shalis, it SOUNDS like a good idea. BUT, taking just one louse picture a day is actually one of the hardest photochallenges you can give yourself. I know, I've tried.


June this year I took pictures 27 or so of the days, and at the end, it was really really hard just to get out and shoot :>

With no pressure for it to be a good photo, I thought it was quite easy without even having to leave the house. I didn't bother because no one else did but for the last few days I could have easily...

Today: My Car as I was going to the gym
Yesterday: A sunflower in my garden, it was a gorgeous day
Saturday: A pile of books, all I did was read all day
Friday: A crumpled tissue, my daughter and husband both have colds
Thursday: Dinner, we had a lovely home cooked meal

and so on, surprisingly easy, the only bit that is a bother is any post processing, but again, not necessary outside of compressing, because this isn't about quality, it's about finding pictures in the most mundane parts of your life

Anywho, I'm no good at maintaining enthusiasm when I'm the only one doing something, it was worth a go, but I'm happy to let it drop

I still think Foxy had a great idea, though, and this board needs more of that if it is ever to be active. Crit requests are well and good, but there has to be more than just that and the comps which are erratic at best.

I could have done a screen capture instead of a phot for my last couple of days. =/

I meant to participate in this, but I also meant to do a lot of other things each day that I don't get around to. I procrastinate about being apatehtic.

I need something to get me out there and take photos, I'll see if I can throw up something here later. I have a few good (I think) ideas. I'll be back

I went and checked out a new state park today. Black Moshannon State Park in Pennsylvania

A good portion of the lake is a bog. Unfortunately, there wasn't much in the way of wildlife/birds out there. There was a heron and some ducks, but they weren't in camera range.

i like both of those stiger. its very calm, and very pretty. you get to do/see neat stuff.
