sorry for the cross post, but here they are. And sorry for the crappy ass back ground, no time to go to a better location. Shot with a YN560 camera left at 45 deg with a sto-fen at about 7-8 feet, as it was too damn windy for the umbrella.

The clutter in the background really kills it for me. So many things intersecting with the body. I think it has a good look just a bit annoying because of the background.

despite the "noise" in the background, you did a good job using a shallow depth of field to blur it out and make it less obvious and attention getting. Could you have picked a better background? Of course. The subject still pops and the twilight sun is a nice touch to a vampire coming out to play!
Love the fangs picture.

thanks Blynk... I would have loved to have used a larger apature for even a shallower DoF.... damnit, I had just gotten an ND +8 filter!!! I should have used that! grrrrr

lol np at all, I already knew the background sucked major ass, but had to deal with what I had at the moment.
we are planning an outing soon (weather/warmth permitting) where she wears her outfit, loses the vampire aspects of it, and swings her mothers bastard sword... yeah, were all geeks at heart
