Littleman and I made cookies together these past couple days...this morning he an I frosted some...was a blast!
Although I dont think I have any left over at the moment...someone keeps eating them behind my back!
but alas, what are the holidays for if not eating to much!

I'm done! Well, mostly. I made 2 batches of fudge and the snickerdoodles last night. So 5 cookies and 2 fudges. I'm ready for the party tonight. 
A big batch of sugar cookies later in the week, for a visiting friend.

Aime, grandma and I made and decorated sugar cookies last night, it was a blast! I can't believe the number of sprinkles I'm finding all over the kitchen and dining room floors, though

I finally got motivated lol, my best friend came over with her son, and we made gingersnaps, snickerdoodles, soft chocolate chip, peanut butter, and chocolate cookies with home-made peppermint icing.
We have to make a big ol batch of Sugar cookies, we'll split it up, and make regular sugar cookies with one half and candy cane cookies with the other
The kids are having a blast lol, last night we had peppermint icing everywhere!!!!!

I'm still finding glitter from the fathers day card so sprinkles will be around for awhile I suspect.

I found green sugar in my hair this morning before I took my shower. Since my daughter didn't help me with the last batch of green I can't blame her. I'm such a messy baker!

OMG they're adorable.
I did all my baking as a child with my grandmother (Nannie). Some of the most fond memories I have. My mother never let us near the kitchen when she was cooking.
Nannie got very upset when I was old enough to bake on my own that my Mother had me do a lot of the baking for her. "Now that you can do it yourself she's taking you from helping me!"
