When I was 14 I had no trouble buying beer. When I was 20 people guessed my age at 30. When I was in my 30's they were guessing late 20's, I suspect that was because I had a job best suited to teenagers. Now at 40 with all the grey in the beard ...

It's a good thing I really don't care, otherwise it's be depressing. But I still have a full head of hair!

Happy Birthday to both!

Does it make you feel old? Seriously...I only ask because my daughter is only 11 and I can't even begin to imagine what it will be like when she's in her 20s.

Oh, and happy birthday, Hart!

For me, the first time was when, she had a program in kindergarten, about her class being the graduating class of 2000.

I just chuckled. Kevin was brand new and she was so little. I couldn't even wrap my head around her graduating HS.

Looking at her the other day, with her 2 girls, it hit me again. My baby has babies. WTH!

It's there. It's happened. Telling myself it's someone else's grown up kid, is all I can do. And be very very proud of her. They are both successful, in a house they love, with tons of kids in a great neighborhood. So far so good!

Caek!
