thanks everyone. its been quite a trip. i am so tired of the food and lousy bed. the encouragement to work hard and get out of here is great. only one nurse ratchet. all the guys would love the physical therapists. my son loves visiting.
anebriated i dont like the food high. just need a diff pipe. no more carbs. thats like a non drug around here, thought of as medicinal. i feel sorry for people that do worse stuff. one man is 50 and i dont know if it was meth or what but it fried his brain bad. he has to stay in this cage thing and only swears. loud. all the time. they said he was getting better at first but now its aa downhill. they are just going to release him. nothing to help.
hopefully i'll be home next week

heh, I got to share a room for a few days with a guy who'd OD'd on something. He kept having siezures. Almost as not-fun as being there in the first place. =/

i have thick blood. so as long as i take an aspirin a day i shoud be okay.
i got the stomach flu again. i felt so bad for the nurses. no warning just blea all over myself and the bed. made for a fun weekend. my daughter and girls got it too. talk about adding insult to injury.
i did find out my dogs can come visit. i'm going to have kevin bring one by. the female is at my daughters and has her dog to play with. the male is stuck with kevin. no buddies

Damn, woman, I hope your rehab goes well and you can go home soon. A friend of mine who is only 45 had a stroke about a month ago. Like you, she's doing alright, but she has trouble sometimes finding the right word during conversation and she can't count right anymore.
