Oh crap.....


Any suggestions on how to deal with this? He started sleeping through the night at 7 weeks old, but the last week and has been hell.

He could be teething, he could be hitting a major growth spurt - there are a number of things that can cause it.

For us it was teething (the eldest started teething @ 3 months)

Could be. They are visible below the gum line and lots of drooling going on. He seems to wake up at the same time every night though.

Whatever the cause, any ideas on how long it "generally" lasts?

Try upping the amount of formula/milk you are giving. He may be growing and needs a bigger portion.

OR

It could be that you can try feeding him a good snack just before bed ...


Its all trial and error and every kid is different

E has done that a few times.

Teething is his most recent cause but Back when he was 5 months old it was because he wasnt getting enough sleep during the day. He was over tired and that was causing him to not sleep well at night which made him more tired and yea....

4 months then maybe try cereal in the day? I'm newbie mom but that's what i read. Any opinions?

Pffft, i gave mine cereal every night before bed, and that started at 4 weeksish.

I refused to do it..

My Mother insisted ....

I was pissed that she did it anyway, without my approval .....

I am SO HAPPY THAT SHE DID!

Best thing my Mother ever did for me as a parent.

I started Brokk 3 days ago on cereal for dinner. Wow. He was already sleeping all night but he really seems more routine and seems like he he sleeping a lot more sound. He's 12 weeks today.
