So, with my baby in kindergarten, I got myself a little part time job, 3 hours a week, I babysit for 6 kids, but besides that I've decided to pick up a hobby, and maybe make some $$ for a rainy day if I can.


Enter: beads. lots and lots of beads! lol, I make jewelry from them, it's taken some time, but I finally sold my first set. actually, this weekend, I sold several of them!


My children help me, and my middle kiddo Allison is so proud! I'm so excited, and this is just such a fun way to spend time with my kids (and my mother who makes the jewelry as well). It does wonderful things for Rhyleigh, she loves patterns, and on a bad day, it soothes her to sort out all the beads and put them into piles, or make patterns with them.


Anyway! I love this board because it's full of our triumphs, ideas, tribulations and so much support, I just had to share.

that is awesome.

a very good way to to be w/ the kids and that it will bring in soem extra money doesnt hurt at all

its also good that she has a way to relax after a hard day
