What do you guys think of my new website? I'm having fun with it, but I could use some *constructive* feedback for improvements, content, etc. It's pretty new so I haven't finished everything, obviously, but what do ya'll think so far?

[edit]

Heh, nevermind, I cant seem to get a link in my text.

Rap/ Hip Hop is dead. The days of the real stuff like Tribe Called Quest, N.W.A, Run D.M.C and yes, even the Beastie Boys are gone. That was rap.

Nah, it's not dead. The good stuff is just underground. There's still people like the Automator, Del, and Kool Kieth doing interesting stuff. The best ones out there right now I'd say would be Madlib and MF Doom though. Madlib is just the most insane producer I've heard since...well, the Automator, and MF Doom's "Danger Doom" album with Danger Mouse is my favorite hip-hop album to come out in a long time.

If you're struggling, I'd recommend:

Danger Doom "The Mouse And The Mask" (Danger Mouse and MF Doom)

Madvillain "Madvillainy" (Madlib and MF Doom)

Deltron 3030 "Deltron 3030" (Del the Funky Homosapian and The Automator, with Kid Koala scratching)

Kool Keith "Black Elvis" (some people aren't into him, but it's awesome once you get into it.)

I argee with Jesswar. This new Mod you call "rap" is a bunch of jibberish about going to the club getting shot and bla bla bla almost all rappers today have no skill what-so-ever.

Ps. Beastie Boys/N.W.A/ICP rawk=)

Theres some good underground stuff out there, but for the majority of the stuff that has been put out recently is horrible. There are a few mainstream guys out there that are still good like Kanye and I hear Outkast is putting out a new album soon. One of the more recent groups I have been listening to is Blackalicious, their good.

I listen to some rap, sometimes. Good music to listen to before going to a party or at a party, along with classic rock (like sweet home alabama, every party i go to that plays that song everyone just goes nuts).
