Got back from Ozzfest 2006...

Ozzfest has gone down throughout the years, but historically it has been a great collection of awesome bands.
The year Pantera played was absofreakinlutely awesome. Great lineup, including Static X.
Typically the second stage is nothing more than kickdrum and the singer, you can't really hear much else. it almsot always sucks. Mainstage also sucks for sound till the headliner and of course ozzy.
I skipped this year, even though i was offered a free ticket. Now i'm glad i did. System can rock (saw em late last year) but that was about the only band i wanted to see.
Sad to hear about the singers throwing tantrums.

"Disturbed was 2nd billing but was the most unenthusiastic I've ever seen a metal band be. The lead singer of Disturbed again chastised the audience for not being real metal fans or something..."
He did the same thing at Ozzfest 2001. He's an idiot, I can't stand listening to disturbed because I hate the singer so much. He threw a fit at the end of their show and totally trashed the stage because his mic cut off while he was b*tching.
