Thanks for posting.
I agree with Lauren Hill and Outkast. I still listen to Lil' Kim and some others at times. While it doesn't "scare" me. Some of the themes just get old. I understand a lot of it is meant to raise awareness and not just "be cool like a gangsta type of crap".

I would argue that a lot of these albums tent to focus on themes other than violence.
