I saw Pantera in a club in NYC during their Cowboys From Hell tour when I was in college. You know how when you go to a show there are a bunch of large guys at the front of the stage to keep the audience from climbing onto it? Not Pantera!

I would guess there were around 20 people on the stage running around and diving off of it at any given moment. You could catch only glimpses of the band, usually when one of them was jumping in the air. They were LOUD and the whole place was just total chaos (I stood off to the side). I've gone to a lot of crazy concerts performed by some very wild bands, but that Pantera show was, without a doubt, THE most insane show I have ever been to; I was literally afraid I was going to get hurt.

I've seen them live a few times and they put on one of the best shows. It's a shame we'll never get to see them again, hence them as my choice

I saw them with Slayer in their last show in California. I thought somebody was going to die. I came through reletivily unscathed, luckily. I'd had my fill of the pits during the opening acts (Static X and Morbid Angel) so just hung around watching the chaos during their set. Amazing show.
